Founded in 1975, Butler Tech was one of Ohio's first career-technical school districts. This year, Butler Tech will deliver education to more than 25,000 high school and adult students making it the second largest career-technical school in Ohio.

Educational innovation has been the hallmark of the district. Butler Tech Online now enables students to access high quality, teacher-directed education anytime and anywhere there is an internet connection. Greentree Health Science Academy was formed in partnership with Warren County Career Center, Middletown Regional Hospital, and Miami University to help fulfill the critical need for healthcare professionals. The Public Safety Education Complex brings together state of the art facilities for police, firefighting and emergency medical education under one roof, earning Butler Tech a reputation as a regional force in public safety education.
