Since 1982, Spear, has been the world's leading innovator and supplier of film pressure sensitive labeling systems. Our labels are found on many of the leading beverage, food, and personal care items throughout the world.
Spear provides solutions to labeling needs through expertise in label design, production, application, performance and technical support. Our engineered labels withstand pasteurization, hot-fill, retort, and ice chests to allow for label application at any stage of the distribution process. Spear's system approach has led to product development with the leading material and application equipment suppliers including material exclusivity, proprietary product performance and pricing advantages.
Spear currently operates 26 printing presses across four facilities in North America and Europe. 2007 will see Spear's production footprint expand into South Africa and Russia. Printing processes include flat bed screen, rotary screen, UV flexographic, gravure, hot stamping, and combination printing.
